What is a Christmas Fruitcake? Step-by-Step Guidance: We’ll start with choosing the seasonal dried fruits, sweeteners, mixed nuts, aromatic spices, and soakers (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to make the recipe. Chopping the dried fruits, ambient soaking environment, pan preparation, and oven preparation, shelf-life of the product will be explained in detail. Curing the baked treat for some time for the flavors to mellow and mingle. We’ll also look into the history of Christmas fruitcakes and their modern evolution with quirky variations. Non-alcoholic fruitcakes are glorified tea cakes. Eggs or egg-free doesn’t have an impact on the desired outcome.

FORMAT:

This 3-month baking subscription is a virtual baking event where the subscribers are trained to create a rich Christmas fruit cake under virtual guidance and tutelage. This includes video tutorials, pictorials, detailed notes, and a detailed subscriber’s handbook that contains the course content. You will be provided with individual guidance via the private Facebook group and WhatsApp community group. NO LIVESTREAMING.

INGREDIENTS INFORMATION:

Participants will bake the fruit cake using all-purpose flour, brown sugar, butter, eggs/ egg-free substitute, pre-soaked dried fruit blend, mixed nuts, molasses/ molasses substitute, and my unique spice mix. There is no secret ingredient. It’s all about the technique!

SCHEDULE:

Application submission and registration remain open between 4 Sep 2023 and 18 Sep 2023 (2 weeks)

Subscription begins 19 Sep 2023 and extends till 18 Dec 2023. It’s a 90-day event.

After going through the forms, and vetting to weed out scammers and imposters you will receive a registration email with an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) form and payment details. Upon receiving the NDA and fees, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the link to the invite-only Facebook group and WhatsApp group.

FEES:
